The Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path movement or Masar Badil is a radical popular political movement of organizations and individuals established by Palestinian, Arab and international will on 1 November 2021 in Madrid, São Paulo, and Beirut to be a framework and a popular resistance movement confronting Zionist colonialism and the project of liquidation and surrender. Asserting the Palestinian, Arab and international popular response to the path of Madrid and Oslo, the declaration of the failure of this catastrophic road and renewing the rejection by the supporters of Palestine everywhere in the world of all agreements and treaties that undermine the rights of the Palestinian people, from the colonial “Balfour Declaration” to the last negotiations that the “Palestinian Authority” may have concluded with the Zionist state. We consider all of them null and void, illegitimate and unlawful.
Our movement was established to confront and present an alternative to the 30 years of liquidationism targeting the Palestinian cause through the “Oslo Accords” and the path of futile negotiations. The Palestinian popular and working classes have had their voice confiscated throughout this process for the past 30 years in order to serve the interests of a comprador sector that has maintained a monopoly over Palestinian institutions while claiming that they are the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people.
This conference is self-financed and depends entirely on its participants. It is convened under the auspices of the Palestinian people and their national flag and does not receive any material support from any official Palestinian or international state, party or entity. Accordingly, we invite all of those who can participate and support others to join the ranks, promote a culture of self-reliance, and develop the values of voluntary work and struggle.
The Masar Badil is a movement to defend the legitimate rights of the Palestinian Arab people against the forces of imperialism, Zionism, and reactionary regimes. It is a movement that invites participation alongside the sons and daughters of our people in the process of the national and social struggle for return and liberation. It views the Palestinian liberation movement as an integral part of the struggle of global movements against imperialism, Zionism, racism, and all systems of exploitation. Our organizing slogan is to continue the struggle and resistance until liberation and return are achieved. The affiliated organizations engage in regional and international coordination on shared calls to action, campaigns, and political education, with their highest expression found in the conferences of the Masar Badil.
This movement requires a willingness to sacrifice among its cadres alongside broad popular participation in rebuilding our national and popular institutions on the one hand, and confronting the imperialist powers and the Zionist movement, its institutions, and its racist colonial entity in occupied Palestine on the other.
We call on the solidarity movements and liberation forces of the world as well as all activists supporting the Palestinian cause to declare their clear and open support of the Palestinian armed resistance, its legitimate and inherent right to engage in the revolutionary struggle in all forms and means in order to liberate our Palestinian and Arab land, and to secure the return of the Palestinian refugees to their homes and lands from which they were forcibly displaced by Zionist armed gangs.
Today, our struggling Palestinian people stand united in the homeland and in the diaspora, together with their heroic resistance, protecting it with their bodies and blood, and rallying around the resistance project that kept its promise when it committed to the Palestinian people to liberate the prisoners from the dungeons of the Zionist enemy. The resistance and the people in the Gaza Strip are one front and cannot be separated, like flesh and blood in one body.
Our Palestinian people made huge sacrifices more than a century ago, and are still struggling today. They will continue to fight until they fully achieve their legitimate national goals, and will continue their revolutionary struggle to liberate Palestine — all of Palestine — from the river to the sea, and to achieve the return of refugees to their homeland. In this long historical struggle, our people will provide a model of rejection and rebellion against humiliation, occupation, plunder and enslavement for all the peoples of the world and liberation movements.
We emphasize that revolution is possible, that victory can and will be achieved, and that there is a revolutionary alternative being born now confronting all attempts to impose surrender and submission.
